Water, water, everywhere

My family is RVing for the first time ever, and mostly loving it.
We spent the past few days at an RV park where we met a little girl who fit right in with us and made herself at home. I sat and talked for a while with her grandparents who are raising her, and got the barest glimpse of difficult circumstances and broken relationships— the same things we humans all experience to some extent.Â
This morning we said goodbye, and I got to give her a mama hug. Ever since, I’ve had a picture stuck in my mind of how we can go about our lives like big ol’ watering cans, and just douse all the little sprouts around us with love and the knowledge that they’re wanted and important. We can do the watering that helps them thrive.
...and this picture is accentuated by the fact that my eyes keep leaking.
